Major European clubs have all been adopting an approach of deploying young players in their first-team squads on a regular basis. While this was common for attacking positions, clubs opted to play with an experience back-bone. This position, though, has evolved as well with the biggest sides in Europe opting to give younger & more dynamic players an opportunity. It’s an experiment that has largely succeeded and has continued to encourage other managers to alter their pragmatism as well.
