When it comes to advertisements, the Brazilians are usually able to pull it off, most often with the leading Sports brands. This latest advertisement though, involving three of Brazil’s crucial members for the big spectacle in June, was created by Brazilian airlines TAM. PSG’s Thiago Silva, Chelsea’s David Luiz and Real Madrid’s Marcelo all feature in the advertisement, who are also likely to be key member of Brazil’s backline at the FIFA World Cup.
As expected, the ad revolved around an airport scene and shows the three Brazilian stars struggling to get to their flight in time, being stopped on the way by a small kid, a couple of nuns, Arsenal fans etc. Yeah, it’s not the most well-thought ads but it’s just another one in a long list of World Cup related ads that will go viral over the next couple of weeks as brands scramble to take advantage of the big summer tournament.
