Landon Donovan makes statement after being left out of World Cup squad

After shockingly being left-out of the United States’ World Cup squad, Landon Donovan released a statement expressing his feelings at the decision. Donovan is the all-time top goal-scorer for the US, has the most World Cup appearances and goals, and is second in the all-time International caps list.

The current squad could certainly have benefited with the experience of the LA Galaxy star. Many fans have questioned Klinsmann’s decision which leaves the 23 men squad going to Brazil as arguably the weakest ever one to represent the national team at a World Cup.
