It’s been a difficult time for people in South East Europe, with extensive flooding affecting the lives of more than a million individuals, young women & children included. The entire world has come together to show their support to the victims, while the football community too has lent it’s support.
Recently, Miralem Pjanic bought an entire pharmacy to supply to victims of the flooding in his home country of Bosnia while the Croatian national team has agreed to give a quarter of their earnings for reaching the World Cup finals, to the flood victims.
And now, Real Madrid duo, Luka Modric & Iker Casillas, held up a sign to show their support to the victims after a training session, ahead of the Champions League final. Real Madrid posted this photo via their instagram account.
Our thoughts with all the people in South East Europe.
