Sturridge and Welbeck perform capoeira, discuss the World Cup and a Liverpool fan

The England team have begun their training in Brazil ahead of the World Cup. Yesterday they had a day out with the fans, interacting with the locals and soaking in the Brazilian culture. The England team were entertained by capoeira performers, a Brazilian mix of martial arts and dance. Sturridge & Welbeck joined in with the United striker actually doing a pretty good job of it with his attempt.

They discussed the Brazilian culture & climate, the fans and a particular Liverpool supporter who came by when they were on the beach. Welbeck uses a nice analogy to describe it, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, hence the fan mobbing the Liverpool striker.

They seem to be enjoying themselves in the country, but it all gets serious in a few days. Not many expectations of England, except that they at the very least, put on a good showing.
