VIDEO: Portugal’s official World Cup song

Remind football supporters about Waka Waka and Wavin’ Flag and they’ll instantly recall the lyrics with a smile on their face. Those two songs of the 2010 World Cup certainly remain memorable with an attractive tune and more importantly, meaningful lyrics.

Now in 2014, football supporters world wide were treated to a chorus of “Dale” and “Mr.Worldwide” as Pitbull led the singing of the of official World Cup song this year. A god awful attempt at displaying the emotions of football fans. And to top it off, Pitbull, J’Lo & Claudia Leitte performed at the opening ceremony in a performance worse than North Korea’s attempt against Portugal four years back. A truly horrible performance for a pretty awful opening ceremony.

But thankfully for Portuguese football fans, they won’t have to worry about songs and the bullsh*t Pitbull put together as their own singing sensation, Kika, has compiled the official World Cup song for Portugal. Now this is what a proper songs should sound like.
