Ian Wright: “Ramos couldn’t catch him but I could”

We saw how Netherlands absolutely smashed Spain in their World Cup opener with Daley Blind, Robin Van Persie & Arjen Robben particularly impressive. The 5th goal in that famous 5-1 victory saw a 30-yr-old Robben, seemingly lacking in pace and energy as the years have gone by, completely out run Ramos despite the Spaniard having a fairly good start on the Bayern man, to take the ball in the box, toy Casillas and smash it in.

Ian Wright has used that incident very cleverly in his tweet for the selfie he got of the Dutch winger. Well played Ian, well played.
