Robin Van Persie posts 11 year old image of his first TV interview with Nigel De Jong

The Dutch have surpassed expectations this World Cup, emerging from the group with maximum points and having humiliated defending champions Spain. Captain Robin Van Persie and midfielder Nigel De Jong have been crucial to this success in two different capacities. Both these players ofcourse started their careers in the Eredivisie, while Van Persie was with Feyernoord, Nigel De Jong was at Ajax. Van Persie has now shared an image from way back in 2003 in what he says is his first ever TV interview.

@ndjofficial and me go way back!! Look at this great pic from our first tv interview together back in 2003 wow” the message read.
