The Belgian national team is set to play it’s first round of 16 World Cup game in 12 years with the US being their opponents. The Europeans won all their group stage games, but didn’t impress as many thought they would. Over expectations maybe?
The entire squad looks like a well-knit bunch though, and the latest in a series of photos that have been shared by them on Instagram is one by Romelu Lukaku, unveiling Daniel Van Buyten’s new look after he cut off his long hair, which he has had for over 15 years. Van Buyten is also the only member from the current Belgian squad who was also in their last World Cup squad, way back in 2002.
