Despite progressing to the semi-finals of the World Cup, Brazil’s football fans are in a dull & gloom feeling. Towards the end of their 2-1 victory over Colombia, Neymar was the subject of a challenge by Zuniga which left the striker with a broken vertebra & ended his tournament. Neymar was Brazil’s main hope and though football is meant to be played as a unit, never has a Brazilian side depended so much on one individual. Fans gathered outside the hospital where Neymar was taken, some visibly emotionally overcome.
