Demba Ba says Besiktas supporters are the “best fan ever”

This won’t go down to well (or maybe it will, maybe no one will bother), but Demba Ba who has recently joined Turkish club Besiktas from English giants Chelsea, has recently experienced the powerful home support at the club. The Senegalese, needless yo say, was impressed.

He shared an image on Instagram of the passionate supporters along with a message “❤️❤️❤️ Best fans ever ❤️❤️❤️”

Chelsea supporters were quick to ask “What about us?”, but it’s no secret that Demba Ba wasn’t the most popular figure at Stamford Bridge despite his two crucial goals against PSG & Liverpool last season. Chelsea support is more accustomed to high profile names, and Ba was never meant to be a cult hero.

Nevertheless, his comments were a bit striking, though one will argue that the Besiktas support is one of the most passionate and vocal ones you’ll ever find. A humble man can be swept away.
