Nike recently unveiled their latest third kits for Manchester City, Barcelona, Juventus, Inter Milan, PSG & Galatasaray with some striking colours which originally caused some uproar on Social Media regarding the choice of colours. Besides being extremely bright and..well…different, the colours didn’t bear too much traditional reference to any of the clubs.
And while we too were skeptical at the choices made by Nike, upon further looking, they actually seem pretty decent. No doubt they’ll be hard to miss when seen in action on the pitch, Nike have certainly taken a bit of a different step with these third kits and maybe they’ll eventually grow on viewers.
Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Gerard Pique (Barcelona), Andrea Pirlo (Juventus), Pablo Osvaldo (Inter Milan), David Luiz (PSG) & Wesley Sneijder (Galatasaray) have appeared in the latest posters revealed by Nike, sporting these third kits.
One criticism that can still be levied towards Nike is the lack of innovation or indeed differentiation between these six sets of kits. They designs are completely identical and could easily be alternated for the other with the simple shift of the club crest.
Nevertheless, these posters are pretty neat. Simple, but neat.
