It’s long been debated, widely opposed, extensively broken down, and yet no one (except men in expensive suits at UEFA) have an idea about how FFP actually works, who does get punished under it and to what degree. The level of punishment handed out seems to vary, and the leniency offered often doesn’t serve any purpose whatsoever. And let’s not even get started on the glaring and downright embarrassing loopholes.
