VIDEO: Bayern Munich Training in Slow Motion

Viral Blog

It’s natural to dwell past the weekend’s action and think about how footballers work on non-match days and the first thought that comes to mind is how they train on non-match days. We’re not going to get into the specifics of football coaching or training here and argue which is the correct or right way to train. Instead, we have a video that takes Bayern Munich, a team that probably has the most lavish and talented squad controlled by this mastermind manager. What happens in the video? Well, to be frank, not much actually. We’ve got footage of Bayern Munich’s stars training, and slowed down that training to make it look awesome. Simple, yet awesome. You can thank us for literally not doing much later.

The video is a little over a minute long, but is enough to think ‘Ah, they make it look so good. I look rather daft when I do it’. As a bonus, you get to see three seconds of Pep Guardiola pull off a move that you’d expect to see in a T-Pain video. The video also shows Pepe Reina (yes, you remember), actually a lot of Pepe Reina, possibly more footage of him in action in Bayern colours than 95% of the people have ever seen before. To be honest, the video does give you the impression that Reina can still do a pretty good job! You also get a glimpse of Tom Starke, the man often mistaken primarily for a superhero and secondary for this existence in the Bayern Munich team much thanks to just 5 appearances in the league since 2012. Okay, I may have gone a bit far with that and will stop ripping on their keepers now. This video was first aired as a part of Bayern Munich’s TV Channel and later posted on their YouTube channel.
