End of Season Awards

2016-17 Serie A End of Season Awards

For the fourth successive year, Outside of the Boot recognises the individuals who stood above & beyond the rest in their respective leagues. With Europe’s top five leagues the focus of our End of Season Awards, we pick out the best players across their respective positions, the best manager, the exceptional Talent Radar young player, and ofcourse the sole man standing above the rest.

More Juventus domination continued for another season with the usual suspects of Napoli and Roma being the only challengers to their Serie A crown. Both Milan clubs struggled for another season but showed more promise than recently while the likes of Lazio and Atalanta were the standout surprise performers. Viewers were certainly treated to an exciting Serie A season, breaking the ‘boring’ taboo in the process.
