Best Young Forward 2017-18: Hirving Lozano

For the fifth season running, the Talent Radar Awards recognise the best individuals across Europe’s top leagues across seven primary categories.

[Eligibility: As of 1st June 2017 – 21 years old and below for outfield players // 22 years old and below for goalkeepers]

PSV regained the Eredivisie title and an important part of that achievement was a summer signing named Hirving Lozano. The Mexican started the season on fire, becoming the first PSV player to score in their first three games for the club. He went on to score 17 goals this season, despite missing a fair few of them due to suspension. Lozano’s pace and trickery will be on show at the World Cup, and he will be looking to add to his impressive showing at club level.
