Liverpool announce Borussia Dortmund pre-season friendly at Anfield

In what should be one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures of the pre-season, English side Liverpool will take on German club, Borussia Dortmund. The two clubs bear strong resemblance in the type of football they play, the young ambitious managers in charge and one of the more passionate supporters in their respective leagues.

While the game is just a friendly at Anfield before the season kicks-off, watching these two sides go head-to-head will be some sight. It is also highly likely that both these sides will face-off with each other in the Champions League with both being in different pots. But this game in August, although a friendly, should be a cracker.
