Hi, what are you looking for?

Are you ready to watch North Korea in the World Cup final today?

Well, apparently North Korea is. Now before we get a barrage of abuse, we will give you this disclaimer that we haven’t been able to verify the authenticity of this video below, but given the country in question, there is every reason to believe that it could be true.

The video is apparently for North Korean owned TV station (the government owns all media in the country), showing a news broadcast of what the citizens are apparently being shown ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final between Germany & Argentina. Putting together a compilation of old clips & current ones, the North Korean media are reporting that their country (which hasn’t even qualified for the event), has reached the finals of the tournament having defeated arch-rivals South Korea 7-0, while having emerged 4-0 victors over the United States as their long-standing feud with the West continues. They’ve also apparently gone on to beat China 2-0 and now face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in the final now in Rio.

As mentioned, this could very well be a fake but don’t put it past North Korea to create something as astonishing as this.
