Gone are the days when season tickets were simply marketed via hoardings, football clubs are now working harder to attract supporters (if they ever needed it), with some quality innovation. And nothing attracts supporters better than being inspired to be a part of the club. Everton have done well in launching their #WeAreChosen campaign for the 2015/16 season tickets, with a neat video featuring some of the clubs stars, both past and present, plus their supporters.
While the screenplay for the video was done excellently using something known as diorama effect, given a ‘miniature’ feel and some neat editing with the players involved, a bit of a ‘chosen’ story-line added a nice touch of what it means to be a member with Everton Football Club.
The club have also created a special page on their official website for information on the season tickets, in addition to behind the scenes footage and Everton-tattoos from their loyal fan-base. A pretty friendly touch from the club, and a rather rare campaign promoting it.
