2014-15 UEFA Champions League Final: Statistical Infographic

Just 5 more days to go. The big one is almost upon us, with the two best teams in Europe set to square off at Berlin in just 5 days, the excitement is reaching fever pitch. Below, you can find an image containing detailed numbers and stats about both teams competing in the 2014-15 Champions League final. The fantastic infographic made by our friends at Guarantee Tickets tells you about so much more than the standard player battle previews. With details about shot directions, goal scoring methods, passing breakdowns, and so much more, the infographic is a statistical gold mine.

Aside from dry numbers, a few interesting facts about the match, and the teams are also provided. Barcelona’s attack has been incredible, with the trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez scoring goals aplenty. For Juventus though, the goals have come mostly from Carlos Tevez, who has often doubled up as striker and No. 10. Alvaro Morata is another weapon in their arsenal, and should be quite a handful for someone like Pique.
