Bengaluru FC continued their run at the I-League in their debut season with a comfortable win in Kolkatta. The newly formed club have taken the league by storm, even widely being accepted as the most professionally set-up club in the country, proving to be a example for the rest to follow.
With capacity crowds in every game thus far, the fan frenzy behind the club has been growing and the players have rewarded the loyal supporters on the field.
In the latest game, they overcame United SC 3-1. Thoi Singh scored his first for the club, completing off a brilliant run by John Menyongar. United SC came back in the second half with a penalty but goals from Sean Rooney and captain, Sunil Chhetri, were enough to increase the sides’ lead at the top of the I-League to 7 points.
