Pirlo Goal | All the focus has been on Bayern Munich dominating the Bundesliga, but silently Juventus have established a considerable lead in the Serie A as they look to win their 3rd consecutive Serie A title. They haven’t been spectacular, but they have been solid, getting the right results, grinding wins out.
They came up against Genoa in a difficult game which proved to be a tight affair. Neither side looked likely to win with Genoa actually having the better chances. After Genoa missed a late penalty with Buffon saving well, Juventus took advantage a minute from normal time as Andrea Pirlo scored from a sweet free-kick with many stating it to be perfect for club legend, Alessandro Del Piero to score from.
The strike was a perfect free-kick, finding it’s way into the top corner as Juventus earned all three points. Both Pirlo and Juventus showed exactly why they’re champions; the midfielder was clearly proud of his effort, earning Conte’s men a well fought win.
