Podolski posts pictures on Instagram of a worn down Arsenal team

Arsenal were certainly made to struggle, both physically & mentally, as they played Hull City at Wembley in the FA Cup Final. The match certainly took a toll on the Gunners, but the hard work paid off in the end and scenes of jubilation followed.

The 120 minutes of physical pressure exerted, the impact it had on their mental state, compiled with their victory celebrations that finally ended their 9-year hunt for some silverware was bound to force their bodies into complete shutdown.

We recently spoke about how Arsenal were excellently using Social Media ahead of the final, and now their German international, Lukas Podolski has followed suit, making full use of his instagram account and posting a couple of pictures that portray the aftermath of that game and the celebrations that ensued. Titled “Hangover 4”, this photo is symbolic of an entire season’s efforts that has ended in success.
