Dortmund thank Rio Ferdinand for his Marco Reus message

Both supporters of Germany and their opponents have sympathised with their star man, Marco Reus, whose injury just days before the World Cup ended his dreams. The Dortmund star is out of the big summer spectacle in Brazil, being replaced by Shkodran Mustafi.

Many well wishers have posted messages of support to Reus, who is in the peak of his career. The player himself shared his thoughts with fans. One player that has publicly shown his support is defender, Rio Ferdinand. The now ex-Manchester United player posted a message to Marco Reus and encouraged him to get right back into it.

Borussia Dortmund have now shared Ferdinand’s message and thanked the ex-England international for his compassion.
