All eyes were set on Brazil vs Croatia, as viewers across the globe tuned in to watch the historical first game of the 20th FIFA World Cup. After a rather awful opening ceremony, the game that followed certainly set standards and one can only hope the same quality & tempo continues throughout the tournament.

Brazil are the favourites to win it, along with the likes of Germany. We may certainly see the 2002 finalists face off at some point in the tournament and that should be some game. Jerome Boateng shared a picture on Instagram of the German camp relaxed, taking a break from their training schedule to watch the big game. Certainly a lot to ponder for Low’s men.
