A perfect start for Germany, handing Portugal their biggest ever World Cup defeat. A hat-trick for Muller, and their main opposition to top spot in the group completely out-played; one of the tournament favourites are well on their way. But apparently there was a bigger personal victory for one of their squad members. Lukas Podolski managed to get a selfie with German chancellor, Angela Merkel, following the victory who was attending the game in Brazil. He posted this picture on his Facebook & Instagram account.
