Chelsea faced Besiktas in a pre-season friendly as we head into the new competitive Premier League season. Some familiar faces were clashing as Eden Hazard was faced against his ex-team mate at a close friend, Demba Ba, who signed for Turkish club Besiktas a few weeks back.
The Belgian interviewed his Senegalese “brother” for Chelsea TV, asking the usual questions a reporter would do in the most dull fashion imaginable (not Hazard, but reporters in general). However, there was a sweet little moment mid-way through the interview as Hazard & Ba remembered their time together. Only they will know how special those moments were.
Ba: “You are family”
Hazard: “You are my brother”
Ba: “You are my brother”
