As the interviewer in this video will say, André Schürrle is among just some 250 individuals who have won the World Cup. Added to that, from among the strong Brazilian contingent of Chelsea that went to the World Cup, none come back with the trophy from their home. All those four Brazilians also participated in that 7-1 game in which André Schürrle too played a part.
The German star is now back at Chelsea and gave an interviews to the club’s TV station on what it means to win the trophy. Again, Schürrle is being completely honest about his feelings but once again we witness how boring footballers can be on interviews. It’s only on the pitch that they liven-up. First he shows off.
