Juan Mata pays tribute to Giggs, Ferdinand & Vidic on instagram

Manchester United are witnessing the creation of a new era at the club. Louis Van Gaal was announced as the manager from the 2014/15 season, sparking another new period for the club.

The same day as the news about the Dutchman broke through, Ryan Giggs announced his retirement from the game and will now take over as assistant manager, with a possible view to the hot-seat on a permanent basis in the future. Nemanja Vidic had already agreed a move to Inter Milan months back, after his contract was running out and Rio Ferdinand too will not be at Old Trafford as the club have not renewed his contract.

United’s big money Spanish signing in January, Juan Mata, has been quite active in the internet space, firstly with his blog and next on Social Media. Earlier today he posted a picture on instagram, paying tribute to the trio who have already got legendary status in the eyes of many United supporters. The message attached to the photo read:
