Aaron Ramsey wishes his “bruda” Lukas Podolski Happy Birthday on instagram

Remember not too long back how a young supreme talent was coming through from Germany, playing for a fairly small side in Cologne? Remember how that young talent got a big move to giants Bayern Munich? And after being linked to the likes of Barcelona & Manchester City, went back to Koln? Before a move to the Premier League with Arsenal?

That supreme young talent turned 29 today. 29! Hard to believe as memory of a young Podolski is still fresh. The Arsenal fan favourite is away on World Cup duty with Germany, and so it may not be as glamorous a birthday as he would have hoped. But what better reward than a World Cup win eh?

Arsenal’s Welsh midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, seems to have a good relationship with Podolski, as most footballers seem to. The ex-Cardiff man posted his birthday wishes to Podolski, with a special message. Well not really that special, but we found it quite amusing how Ramsey referred to his team-mate as “bruda” (play on the word ‘brother’ ofcourse). A series of pictures of the duo was attached to the message, alongwith a pic of their FA Cup victory this past season.

The message read: “Happy birthday to my #bruda @poldi_official. Have a good one! #aha”.
