The Portugal squad take a selfie just like teenage girls would

We wrote an article some time back about how World Cup selfies will become a thing now, given the popularity of both the World Cup and selfies. We’re bound to see plenty of established and reputed football personalities take part in this seemingly childish activity.

And nothing could back-up our point better than the selfie taken by the Portuguese World Cup squad. Pouting faces, tongues out, ugly-duck face (or whatever that look is called), which is certainly common among teenage girls these days, this Portuguese World Cup selfie had it all. The likes of Miguel Veloso, Raul Meireles and Nani all feature in this photo, uploaded by the Manchester United winger.

If Portugal fail to impress at the World Cup, you know what to blame.
